About The Event
The biggest spectacle in Ireland - Over 200 warriors will take to the field to battle for the Irish Championship
An event spectactular for both Saturday & Sunday at 1pm - Viking Long Ships on the River will bring many warriors to greet their comrades on land. Talk with the sailors from the Vikings TV Series, they will tell you about their adventures.
Viking reenactors from all over Ireland and Europe will camp at Slane Castle and will tell the Viking story of the Boyne Valley to visitors.

Viking families and warriors will be camped in a tented village below the Castle. The camp will be open from 10.30 am to 5 pm on Saturday and 4.30 pm on Sunday to show how Viking folk lived in the area more than a thousand years ago. Demonstrations throughout each day…
